Tonight, we won the endorsement of CTRA, the Central Texas Republican Assembly.

This is the fourth major endorsement we have gotten - the other three are Young Conservatives of Texas, Empower Texans, and Texas Alliance for Life PAC.  These endorsements signal their belief that Patrick McGuinness has the conservative credentials and the experience to be a great State Representative.

I just signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge, that pledges that I will oppose and vote against any efforts to increase taxes.

This pledge was put together by the group Americans for Tax Reform. We are 'Taxed Enough Already' and have no intention of increasing the burden of Government on taxpayers, and so it was easy for me to sign this pledge.

We have an open house at our home on 9310 Old Lampasas Trail, on Saturday from 11am-1pm. You can come on by and chat, and we'll have yardsigns available.

The Patrick McGuinness for State Representative campaign has earned another endorsement, this time from the Texas Alliance for Life PAC.

My candidate comment on this:

We obtained an "A" rating from the Texas State Rifle Association, an NRA affiliate.

This is a reflection of my support for the second amendment's individual right to keep and bear arms, my support for lawful gun ownership and concealed carry in Texas, and my belief in the inherent right of citizens to self-defense.
